Enamel sign Friedenfelser Bier, Schloßbrauerei Friedenfels in Bavaria, around 1910 (1-)
Ausrufpreis: € 4500,-
Enamel sign Schloßbrauerei Friedenfels, strongly curved, lithographed enamel. Impressive design of a knight in full armour, raising his sword in his right hand and triumphantly raising a foaming beer mug in his left - flanked by a cherub in lederhosen. This is one of the most important German brewery signs and probably the best example to have appeared at auction in the last two decades.
