Porcelain figurine "Parisian Town Crier Girl with Chick" from the Meissen Manufactory, based on a design by Peter Reinicke, circa 1750. From the Cris de Paris/Parisian Town Crier series. Model number 26. First choice. Height: approx. 12 cm. Porcelain, polychrome on a rocaille base, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, used between 1924 and 1934. The hat shows an older, improperly executed repair along a crack. The repair is discreetly visible but stable. Also present is a Meissen Manufactory medallion with a one-sided, antique-style depiction of a woman with Cupid. The reverse bears the inscription "Staatl. Museen zu Berlin" (State Museums of Berlin). Blue crossed swords mark from 1934 onwards.
