Art Nouveau centrepiece made of green pleated glass with metal mount, Northern Bohemia, probably Kralik, around 1900/1910

Ausrufpreis: € 240,-

Decorative centrepiece in a characteristic Art Nouveau form, consisting of a green overlaid, iridescent folded glass bowl with soft, optically rounded walls. The glossy, shimmering surface shimmers in subtle shades of green and gold depending on the incidence of light. The sculpturally modelled metal mounting interlocks with the glass wall in floral ornamentation with stylised iris blossoms on three sides and also forms the three richly decorated feet. Attributed to the North Bohemian glass manufacturer Kralik, known for its high-quality cased glass and experimental glass designs in the early 20th century. Dimensions: Height approx. 12 cm, width approx. 27 cm. Very good condition, glass undamaged, metal frame with age-appropriate patina.
